Introduction
This is an infused water (also called “detox water”) made with cucumber, lemon, and mint. It is mainly used to improve hydration and add natural flavor to water.
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber (preferably organic)
- 1 to 2 lemons
- A few fresh mint leaves
- 1 to 1.5 liters of cold water
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the cucumber and lemons thoroughly.
- Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
- Cut the lemon into thin slices.
- Add everything into a water pitcher.
- Lightly crush the mint leaves to release their aroma and add them.
- Let it infuse in the refrigerator for at least 2–4 hours (ideally overnight).
- Serve chilled, with or without ice cubes.
Note
This drink does not have any medicinal pain-relieving effects. Its benefits are mainly related to hydration and a mild digestive comfort for some people.
