Ingredients
- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or white chocolate pieces
- 2–3 dates, pitted
- 1 tbsp blue spirulina powder (or butterfly pea powder for color)
- 2 cups cold water or milk
- 1–2 tbsp sugar (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Soak the dates in warm water for 10 minutes if they are firm.
- Add the blueberries, white chocolate, dates, blue spirulina powder, and water (or milk) to a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- Taste and add sugar if desired.
- Add ice cubes and blend again for a colder drink.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
Notes
- Using milk instead of water creates a richer, creamier smoothie.
- Frozen blueberries give the drink a thicker texture.
- The blue spirulina powder is what gives the smoothie its vibrant purple-blue color.
